T.U.F.F (Taverners United For Fairness) was started as a forum for bar/restaurant owners and workers who agree that NY City and State are unfairly targeting our businesses. Our first fight was against the intolerable smoking ban, WE FOUGHT THE 1 AM CLOSING AND WE WON! At least for the time being. We do expect further injustices in the future.There is strength in numbers, so please recruit as many people as possible, we will need All the help we can get!

PLEASE NOTE: We are NOT a big tobacco front group or ally. We are a group of tavern and restaurant owners and workers fighting a huge and heavily funded lobby group that is hurting ALL New Yorkers.

It would be very helpful if everyone would use their establishment's name as their Yahoo Profile , members will know who they are corresponding with and it may help legitamize our group.
