This group is for women working through the transsexual process or that have completed it.It is meant to be a group separate from the LGBT community as gender identity is a separate issue from sexual orientation.The term transgender is not used to describe the group or any of it's members as it is a word that causes confusion due to it's umbrella application, nor do we support it's use. It is placed within the women's section because that is what we are regardless of the path or struggles we have faced to get here. Flaming and spamming will not be tolerated nor will be other behavior considered inappropriate to the groups purpose.All those applying to be members will be asked to fill out a questioneeer prior to joining and must pledge to respect the rights to privacy of others if allowed to join.This is meant to be a safe place for all of us including those who are stealth. Where we can share our thoughts,experiences and our ideas on how we can expand our inclusion and recognition as women in mainstream society.
