We discuss the technical aspects (are there any others?) of keeping our TS-440S/AT rigs running in top shape. These are fine radios and perfectly capable of providing many more years of service; there are a few problems with them that crop up from time to time. The "all dots" syndrome, occasionally severe distortion on receive and transmit; etc.
