The purpose of this group is to provide fans of Tim Russ with a forum where they can discuss Tim’s work past and present (acting, directing, producing, writing and music) and share information, e.g.

- on Tim’s upcoming appearances (including online chats, talk shows etc.)

- on Tim’s current projects or future jobs that you may have learned about at one of his appearances

- availability of Tim’s previous work (e.g. reruns)

This group also can be used to share personal experiences with Tim with other group members.

It is understood that while we all like Tim, not everybody may enjoy each of his works equally. Everybody has a right to their opinion and should be allowed to express it. Disagreement is fine as long as we all remain civil.

Since written word does not always adequately convey the writer’s mood, the use of emoticons and/or indications that something is meant in a certain way (“sarcastic mode on”) may help to prevent misunderstandings.

I also want to draw your attention to the group’s home at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TR_discussion. If you sign up with Yahoo, using the same email and handle as you do on the group you can access this page. We can store pictures, bookmarks, large files etc. there, mark Tim’s appearances in the group’s calendar, or organize polls. This group is more than a discussion forum, it’s also a storage place for stuff that we all might want to see or read, but might fill up our mailboxes if it were sent through email.
