Description

To discuss the Kenwood TM-D700A (and D710A) APRS/Packet mobile dual bander. Please allow up to three days for a moderator or owner to approve your membership. Yes, it has a puck antenna, "Andrew micro plus" on the bottom of antenna. The GPS is some sort of Motorola but i don't know what model etc, trying to get info

glad you found it... but yes..... the gps is supposed to go into the jack plug not the db 9 *wink* charlie ai4ri

looks like an old garmin puck. like i said in the other thread, try running @ 4800 bps. if you get like twice the characters you expect then lower the baud

thats good.... try 4800 baud as thats the standard for gps's you should see something like $GPRMC and $GPAA etc those are the nmea sentences charlie
