The Learning Community (TLC) of Bergen and Rockland Counties is a support and activity group for Attachment Parenting families who are homeschooling in Bergen County NJ, Rockland County NY, and the surrounding areas.

There is no membership fee to join. The requirements for becoming a TLC member include *all* of the following:

1. Attachment Parenting
2. Dedicated to homeschooling
3. Striving to practice respectful and peaceful parenting. (This could also include being interested in practicing Non-Violent Communication with adults and children).

We are *not* a religious based homeschooling group. All religious beliefs will be accepted. Events that are planned with regards to religious holidays will be welcome. However, discussion or debates about religion (or politics) will not be tolerated. We will occasionally post political issues and legislation that impact homeschooling; but do not debate them beyond that initial post.
