The Tennessee Initiative for Gifted Education Reform (TIGER) is a not-for-profit corporation whose purposes are (1) to inform the public about the exceptional needs of high-ability children and (2) to advocate for the appropriate education of all children. TIGER provides a communication network for parents, educators, policy-makers, and other members of the community who are interested in promoting these goals. TIGER calls on members of its online network to write letters and make phone calls when legislation or an educational program needs support.
