The Transgender Community of Police & Sheriffs, is a place to find support, talk, ask advice, and make friends within this unique segment of the law enforcement community. We also have resources to assist active-duty officers address transition-related employment concerns before, during, and after gender transition.
TCOPS members are active, former, and retired police officers, police constables, county constables, deputy sheriffs, special agents, federal officers, federal agents, correctional officers, probation officers and parole agents. Public safety dispatchers, community service officers, crime scene specialists, forensic technicians, police or sheriff reserves, auxiliary police officers, special police officers and other support personnel are welcome. Basically, anyone that carries a badge and a gun, and enforces the law, or works for a law enforcement entity in a civilian support capacity.
Our membership is comprised of Federal, State, and Local law officers, from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
