Welcome to the Tri-Cities Homeschool Support Group email list!

The purpose of this Yahoo Group is to provide a supportive community for Christian, Independent, Homeschoolers (as defined in RCW 28A.225) to discuss issues regarding Homeschooling, as they strive to provide the best education for their children. This may include sharing ideas, asking/answering questions, discussing curriculum, buy/sell/swap curriculum, organizing group activities/field-trips/park-days/classes, staying in touch with Legislative issues that pertain to Homeschooling, etc. We also welcome those who are exploring the option of Independent Homeschooling for their families.

TCHSG is a staunch supporter and advocate of parental choice and control in the education of their child(ren).

The Tri-Cities, Washington, consists of the cities of Kennewick, Richland, Pasco and the surrounding areas, which are located near the Oregon border.

The criteria for joining and being a member of our group is as follows:
(1) You are a current Homeschooling parent
OR you are looking into Homeschooling for your children.
(2) You live within a 2-hour one-way drive of the Tri-Cities, Washington.
