This list is restricted to Professional Dog Walkers only.

The Toronto Area Dogwalkers Alliance has been created to give Professional Dog Walkers in the City of Toronto and the surrounding regions a place to network and stay on top of current events that affect their local industry and dogs in general.

If a park is being overused, a new off-leash park is being started, Animal Services or Bylaw Officers are cracking down, dogs are lost, found, or running at large, someone calls you looking for a walker in an area you or your associates don't serve, matters concern you or exhilarate you, and you want to share, share it here. If you need help with walks or park maintenance, ask here. It would be nice to see this industry pull together for positive change, even if we operate independently.

The City of Toronto's Dogs In Parks Strategy (DIPS)Report was scheduled to be presented to the Economic Development and Parks Committee On May 4, 2006. Instead the Committee defered it to the four Community Councils for further Public Hearings. This effectively postponed debate on this hot issue until after the November Municipal Elections. The Report is available in the Files section.

This info goes to the moderator only. If you wish to introduce yourself to the list once approved, feel free to do so.
