Gorgious !

In the narrow field of Jesus-as-a-myth theory debunking, this paper is a
weapon of mass destruction.

It is really interesting to see how Couchoud, the french leader of
Jesus-as-a-myth theory, in the early 20 c. defends the Marcion as a
ur-Lk : From Streeter (Luke wrote from a now lost proto-gospel), he
jumps to Marcion (this is a lost gospel) and conclude by identifying
them. He never checks if Marcion fits with Streeter arguments.

Then, for his followers, Knox is a master argument.

Emmanuel.

In Mk 10:34 Jesus predicts that he will be spat on, and the act itself is mentioned in Mk 14:65 and 15:19 In Lk 18:32 Jesus predicts that he will be spat on,...

Couldn't Mark Goodacre's theory of editorial fatigue account for this? -- assuming that Matthew's Gospel and Luke's Gospel both use Mark's Gospel.   Jeffery...

I would agree that editorial fatigue probably explains Matthew. My preffered explination of Mark, Luke and Epiphanius's version of Luke is more complicated. ...

Dear David and Dave, 1. According to my view Mark rewrote in his radically new post-70 version of an unknown pre-70 Gospel. This pre-70 Gospel ran out of use...
