The Sycamore Valley Homeschool Group is a support group organized by home schooling families who desire fellowship, encouragement, social interaction, and educational opportunities for themselves and their children. We are located in Tennessee ( TN ), covering areas in Cheatham, Robertson, Dickson, and Davidson counties - including the towns of Ashland City, Pleasant View, Joelton, Chapmansboro, Whites Creek, Charlotte, Springfield, and the surrounding areas. We have special speakers, classes, social events, field trips, and other activities throughout the year. Everything we do is on a volunteer basis and the level of involvement is up to you. Our main objective is to support the families in our area who have committed to homeschool their children. We do not exclude anyone from our group, however, the bond most of us shares beyond our schooling choice is our Christian faith. We communicate with each other via this online Yahoo! group.

We are a members only group - if you are interested in joining, please click onto the blue "Join this Group" button. You will be contacted via email and sent a form to fill out with your family's information. All information is required on this form. Once this form is received, you will receive a phone call from a member of the group. If approved, your membership will be completed. Once signed up, you will be able to choose what information you wish to have shared with the rest of the group members.
