The Sword Swallowing List is a private discussion list set up under the auspices of the Sword Swallowers Association Int'l for serious Sword Swallowers ONLY. The purpose of this List is to discuss techniques, tips, news, records, and the history, art and practice of sword swallowing, swords, neon tubes, props, costumes, etc., as well as compile an archive of photos of sword swallowers from the 1800's to the current time in our online Photo Album.

We do not teach the basics of sword swallowing on this list, and only serious, legitimate performing sword swallowers are allowed to join. Those who just think sword swallowing is a "cool" stunt they want to try will not be allowed to join this List. You must already be on our list of recognized sword swallowers at:

or you must show proof that you are a serious sword swallower in order to be approved to this List, either in the form of a website or photo of you swallowing swords, or a recommendation from a recognized sword swallower.
