Surprise Cave, AKA Mystery Cave, AKA Fallbrook Cave is in Sullivan County, NY. The cave is managed by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.

This group was formed for the support of the re-survey project begun in Spring 2007.

All postings must be focused on the survey and be of interest to most of the survey participants. Assume that any posting may become part of a public record.

UPDATE Summer 2009:
Due to WNS (the illness killing bats) Surprise Cave is closed. No opening date has been announced. For related info see:
