This group was founded March 28, 2005 in light of the Terri Schiavo case as "Terri_Schiavo".
Since the passing of Terri, I felt it necessary to shift the focus of the group to an overall pro-life view point, including anti-abortion.

We "Adam Founder/Owner and Mark Head Moderator" are opposed to abortions.
If a pregnant woman is unable or unwilling to raise the child, there is the option of placing the child up for adoption.

The Catholic Church teaches that "abortion is a grave sin against the natural law." It believes that human life is sacred and begins at conception. Under this view, abortion is equivalent to murder and there are no permissible exceptions.
When the life of the woman is in jeopardy, it is permissible to obtain life-saving treatment which may have the secondary effect of killing the fetus, but no direct action may be taken against the fetus/embryo itself and all life-sustaining options must be exhausted.

This group is moderated and working with people to prevent drama, or debates, not a forum to put down other groups, websites or blogs.
