Please read this entire message before you post anything to the list.

The purpose of this group is to promote peace -- centered around the residents
and neighbors of Sunnyvale, California. USA.

The most important list rules are:
1) Stick to the topic of peace
2) Be civil


Who may join:
Anyone with an interest in peace.
New members are moderated to ensure they abide by the guidelines and demonstrate
good etiquette. When in doubt, check with the moderator first.


What's OK to post:
Local peace news & events
Discussion of peace issues


What's not OK:
SPAM & commercial advertising
Personal attacks
Profane language, rudeness, etc
"Adult" content
Questions about how the list is run or moderated (please send these only to the
-owner address for this group)


When in doubt, don't do it or ask the moderators first.


Please be positive and use this list with care. This list depends on everyone's
good manners and good will to help it run smoothly. Please be gracious and
tolerant of all on the list. If you notice anything that might have slipped by
the moderators or if you have other questions or concerns, please contact the
moderators at the -owner address for this group.

Running this type of open forum can be very tricky. Please support your
volunteer moderators and be stellar role models of good citizenship.

The moderators reserve the right to moderate posts and adjust these guidelines
as they see fit to keep this an open, welcoming, safe, helpful, on topic
(related to peace and Sunnyvale), and interesting online community.
