Description

Sunnyvale Voices for Peace...

...is a nonprofit, grassroots organization dedicated to achieving worldwide peace by thinking globally and acting locally. SVP was founded in 2006 and is based in Sunnyvale, California.

SVP was inspired by and works with Mountain View Voices for Peace, Los Altos Voices for Peace, Peninsula Peace and Justice Center, and The Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church Peacemaking and Social Justice group.

Everyone is welcome. Support our Troops! Bring them home alive!!

We are especially interested in joining forces with other peace promoting organizations, churches, synagogues, mosques, temples, individuals, etc. in (or near) Sunnyvale.

This group is for both announcements and discussion. All peace-related topics are welcome as long as the discussion is positive and civil. SPAM and personal attacks are not allowed. Open-mindedness, tolerance, and friendly discussions are encouraged.

Interested in having your peaceful voice heard? Please join us at one of our Peace Discussions at the Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church on the 4th Monday evening of most months (join group for details). Or attend one of the events listed on the Peace and Justice Calendar.

Please note that we are not having outdoor peace rallies at this time while we see how the Obama administration does.

Please also visit our sister groups SunnyvaleFree and SunnyvaleCafe.

And our blog at http://sunnyvalepeace.blogspot.com
