Welcome to the Sunnyside Neighborhood Association (Portland, Oregon) Email Group!

You've come to the right place if you want to get involved in your neighborhood and make a real difference at the local level. We meet at 7:00 pm on the 2nd Thursday of each month at the Sunnyside Environmental School at 3421 SE Salmon. Make sure to enter from the South side of the school, as all other doors will be locked. We meet in the library (take a right to the end of the hall, then a left).

The Sunnyside Neighborhood Association of Portland, Oregon (SNA) is a non-profit corporation organized under the direction of the City of Portland's Office of Neighborhood Involvement (ONI). The boundaries of Sunnyside are as follows: Its Northern boundary is Stark Street, its Southern boundary is Hawthorne Boulevard, its Eastern boundary is 49th avenue, and its Western boundary is 28th avenue.

Anyone who lives or works within the boundaries listed above can become a member of the SNA and this email group.

The main goals of this group are:
1) Foster a greater sense of community in the Sunnyside Neighborhood.
2) Provide another method to disseminate information to neighborhood residents from the SNA and other neighborhood organizations.
3) Provide an electronic means to promote neighborhood activities that support the goals of SNA.
