SubWivesAndSailors is a private group for Wives of US Navy Submariners. As long as you have stood beside your husband as a sub wife and are a US citizen, you can join. Since Submarines are part if a silent service, those wives are equally part of the same silent service, so there should be a place to come together for support, knowledge, comraderie and fun -- with other wives who know the pressures and pride of being the Wife of a Submariner. It doesn't matter whether your DH is sea or shore duty, retired or enlisted, an E1 or O07, you are welcome here soley on the basis of being a Submariner Wife. All rank/pay-grades are welcome, however, the submariner must be at a duty station, or a staff pick-up at school, or attached to a command [boat or shore]. With all of us knowing the way of the Navy life, the schedules and changes can reek havok on your marriage. We will also be focusing on improving your marriage for the benefit of everyone in your family. A healthy marriage makes a healthy family for all involved.
