who've spent time in the country hanging out with the resistance and other
ordinary Iraqis.


Intrepid foreign journalist/author/filmmaker John Martinkus will be making
screening Travels in American Iraq. Guest Speaker Donna Mulhearn will talk
about the siege in Fallujah. You will see rivetting footage, showing a
country where liberation has become occupation. It is a very immediate,
very intimate, very sceptical portrayal of everyday life taking place
beyond the official perspective. John is also the renowned author of Books
on Aceh, East Timor, and the recently-launched book version of this film.
