The Stop the War Coalition is a group of activists based in Sydney but with networks around NSW, Australia and the world.

We support an end to the occupations of Afghanistan, Iraq and Palestine and believe that Australia and its allies should quit meddling in the Middle East.

We are also committed to campaigning for an end to the "war on terror".

We include a variety of community groups, political parties and solidarity organisations that organise autonomously but see the Stop the War Coalition as an important space in which to consolidate opposition to these reactionary and costly domestic and foreign policies.

The Stop the War Coalition also supports the activities of local community peace groups in building grass-roots opposition to the occupations of Afghanistan, Palestine and Iraq.
