Stop_McDonalds elist purpose is to:
1. Protect our children from traffic, and crime, making our neighborhoods a safe place for our children;
2. STOP the intrusion of McDonalds, and other fast food restaurants, in established, and historical neighborhoods; 3. Protecting our property values
4. Support our community's right to choose which businesses are best suited for our established neighborhoods.

NOTE: On September 28, 2001, the Dallas City Council unamiously voted NO to McDonalds in Mt. Auburn Neighborhood.

NOTE 2: On December 20, 2001, McD's team filed new "plat" to build a different kind of store. We've requested a hearing with the Plan & Zoning Commission

NOTE 3: On February 1, 2002, McD's team has cooerced the land owner who owns the adjacent parcel to build a parking lot.
