Stop the dirty coal burner in Early County, Georgia Join this free list serve to save our health in southwest Georgia. We are a community of friends who are effectively opposing the Dynegy proposed coal burner (next door to the polluting Georgia-Pacific paper mill). We want to protect the Chattahoochee River, our environment, and the health of our children and grandchildren. The whole world is concerned about global warming while our officials ignore science. Coal burners are one of the main causes of global warming, carbon dioxide emissions, air and mercury contamination. We are joining with others to work for a moratorium on all new coal fired power plants. Conservation, renewables, green building, and incentives to encourage new technologies will eliminate the need for new coal burners.
