This group was originally set up with the support of SOLAK to help aid the survivors of Hurricane Katrina, but with the latest disaster, the devastating earthquake that shook Pakistan, India and Afghanistan, we have extended our endeavours. This group is open to ANYONE who is willing to help.

Why 'Stitching in Action'?
Because after seeing all the harrowing reports on the media about these terrible disasters, we decided to put our stitching into action and do something to show that we care, and in a way that will be a practical help to people who now have nothing.

We will be stitching squares to be made into quilts that will then be auctioned. The proceeds will go to a disaster relief fund.
