Description

Devoted to the career of the great cartoonist Leonard Starr, who worked on a very long rn of his creation ON STAGE, about actress Mary Perkins, and then took on ANNIE following the success of the Broadweay show basd on LITTLE ORPHAN ANNIE after that became a hit.
Len also worked on various anthology stories for DC Comics and for the Simon & Kirby Studio, to name some of his other accomplishments.
Len is one of the finest draughtsmen ever to work in the comic strip and comic book field.
I met Len at the old Museum Of Cartoon Art in Port Chester, NY, The Town Of Rye, many years ago.
He is a truly nice man as well as a talented illustrator.
