The St Kilda archipelago belongs to the Scottish National Trust-ST KILDA and has the highest cliffs in the UK. St Kilda was inscribed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1986. The last inhabitants left voluntarily in 1930.

The St Kilda group is a free email list for those interested/connected with the islands and provides a source of non-commercial information and pictures for all friends of St Kilda and the Outer Hebrides and of Scotland.
We are no longer an active discussion list but please don't hesitate to make a posting about the Archipelago or the Outer Hebrides.
The LINKS, FILES and PHOTOS are still held for reference and these features are viewable by members but accessible by moderators only following destructive removals.
