FYI … Bo & I are going to the St John’s Music Series concert on Saturday night with our nephew. I think it should be a great show (“This Land Was Made for You & Me” featuring Jake Speed and Muse … both wonderful performers). We’ll probably go out to dinner beforehand (possibly Indian food somewhere on Ludlow). Anyone is welcome to join us for dinner and/or the show!

To all!
I've been wondering why the events are so rare. I've gone to a few at other UU church GLBT events and if I happen to be out of town for the movie night it seems like forever till the next one. I'm open to eating out, even though my budget it tight. I've always wanted to get together with people and try ethnic food places. Are there very many people in the group interested in that?
I also have a facebook page I've started where I post local GLBT events and issues that are not just regular "shows". It leans towards politics (because I do) but it's not all political. I found a gay bingo night that goes to charity :D.
I also have a fan page at http://www.facebook
I haven't figured out which is better for sending out information so I started both. It's a work in progress :D.
My personal page is at http://www.facebook
It makes sense that we can join together and find local events or design them and then send them out to the group. Let me know your thoughts.
Michelle

Theresa (& all),
As you may already be aware, the only regularly scheduled events that we currently have scheduled are our every-other- Having said that, I think it's a good idea to consider other events. I've suggested the idea of having a "dinner out" on alternating months, or scheduling the potluck & movie night for every month. We also used to have a regular brunch/lunch schedued for after service once a month. Anyway, if you want to schedule a one-time event, or are interested in organizing a regular event, please feel free to do so. Thanks.Greg Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed individuals can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has. - Margaret Mead To: StJohnsInterweave@
