Description

The St Albans Freecycle ® Network is open to all who want to "recycle" that special something rather than throw it away. Whether it's a chair, a fax machine, piano or an old door, feel free to post it. Or maybe you're looking to acquire something yourself! Nonprofit groups are welcome to participate too!

One constraint: everything posted must be free. This network is brought to you by The Freecycle Network, a nonprofit organization and a movement of people interested in keeping good stuff out of landfills. Check out freecycle.org for other cities and info on the movement! And now have fun and jump right in!

If you would like to join, click the button above and follow the instructions. Once your membership is approved you will be able to see the messages on the website and receive copies by email. You will need a Yahoo ID and email address to register. You can use an ID you already have, or follow the prompts to get a new one. It's handy to have a separate ID and email just for Freecycle, so you can organise your messages more easily. For security reasons you may wish to hide your full name and other details from the public.
