It just so happens that one of the photographers who was compelled by CKG to
airbrush, or otherwise touch up, some of the weightlifting photos so that it
would appear that Chinmoy lifted the weights higher than he actually did was at
our Oy Day gathering last week and he was regaling some of the ex-disciples with
stories about how RIDICULOUS the whole thing was and is.
It provided us all with some big laughs but how really sad it is to think that
there are still ex-disciples out there who actually feel that Guru still has
some power over them and that he can either help or hurt them from the inner
worlds.
I do not make this up. In fact, you probably know some of the ex-dees who fall
into this category.
The truly sad thing is not only did these ex-disciples turn over their OWN power
to Chinmoy when they were in the Centre, but ironically enough, they are STILL
turning over their power to him NOW.
Not only was Chinmoy as Fake Avatar, but he was a Dishonest Strong Man as well.
Well at least they are still trying to foist that bogus (and phantom) 7,000 lb.
lift claim on anybody (except probably the most naive of unaware and unthinking
disciples) anymore.
At least I didn't find any evidence of that world-record event in any info about
the pop-up museum that's been created in coordination with the film that's being
shown in Tribeca this Sunday.
Apparently that was one lift that couldn't be airbrushed into reality.
No matter what the angle.
Wow!

Apparently it was on the list for the tribecca film festival and received good
reviews there. Sanjay produced the film from what I understand.
