This is a group dedicated to discussion of sprang... its history, method, and experimentation.
Sprang is an ancient textile, that creates an elastic fabric that was used for socks/stockings, hats, pouches, hairnets, sashes, belts, altar cloths, bed hangings, and probably a lot more. While the main context of group discussion will be in the medieval uses of sprang, any discussion is welcome, with the idea of sharing knowledge.
