Description

This group is designed to help find sponsors for a special group of children who live in an orphanage which is located in Tanzania, East Africa. These children are in need of your love and support. Many of them come from horrific backgrounds, yet with the love and care given to them at Bethany, they are overcoming those obstacles and blossoming.

Periodically a child will be featured on the home page. More information about the children can be found on the Bethany website. Information/Photos about updates and activities at the home will also be posted from time to time. You are welcome to post questions and sponsors are welcome to share their experiences and insights.

The sponsorship program at Bethany is very flexible. Children can be fully sponsored or co-sponsored. A child can be co-sponsored for as little as ten dollars a month (USA) or a full sponsorship can be done for sixty dollars a month. Sponsors have the opportunity to correspond with the child or children that they sponsor and receive updates and letters.

The Bethany Project is making a wonderful difference in the lives of these children and in the community. If you would like to be a part of this special effort to improve the lives of these children and other children who may join the home, please sign up to be a sponsor. Be a part of something that will make a difference.

Photo: Eight Bethany children have been offered scholarships to attend Accrington and Rossendale College in the UK to further their education. Their names are Evarist Shaban, Frank Willibard, Rehema Kasimu, Jesca James, Eva Joseph, Mwita Marwa, Lucas Mtaki, and Laban Daniel. It is hoped that the learning and skills that they will achieve will enable them to contribute in a great way to their community when they return to Tanzania.
Their photos will be posted in the Album Section.

God bless.
