This is a support list for Christian homeschooling families and classroom teachers that are using Wanda Sanseri's materials for their language arts needs. Wanda's Spell to Write to Read (SWR) is the updated version of Teaching Reading at Home and School (TRHS), and The WISE Guide for Spelling replaces the use of The Writing Road to Reading (WRR/WRTR). This program is based on the same methodology as WRR by Romalda Spalding. There are different options. While we believe the best combination is SWR with WISE Guide for Spelling, people can still teach successfully by using TRHS with The WISE Guide, or TRHS with WRR.

We want folks to feel free to ask any questions on this e-mail loop about SWR/TRHS/WISE/WRR and to offer ideas to others as well. This is also a place to post SWR-related items for sale and items wanted to buy. Please note that we intend this to be for encouragement, so we ask all those who subscribe to keep discussions on a positive note.
