I am the mom of a son, born 6/91, with hyperlexia/autism/Tourette, and a son, born 8/92, with Aspergers. I am an advocate for Special Ed. and ESOL children, a board and founding member of The Maryland Autism Recovery Coalition (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/

I volunteer in my sons' schools, and successfully fought to place my hyperlexic son in full inclusion. He moved to his "home school" with his brother in 1999.
