Started in 2001, Spartanburg Homeschoolers is a support group for homeschoolers in the Spartanburg area. We are open to any homeschooling family regardless of ethnicity, faith, lifestyle or home-educating style.

Our primary focus is to provide social opportunities for our families. Membership in Spartanburg Homeschoolers, as a support group, does not meet legal requirements to homeschool under section 59-65-47 of state law; however, we can refer you to a list of associations that do offer legal status of homeschooling.

We encourage everyone to contribute and host activities to make this group self-sufficient. If you have a strength, share it with us! If you have a weakness, ask for help. We are all here to support each other as we guide our children into adulthood. This is your community; use it!
