Southern Tier Greenway Hiking group welcomes those intersetd in exploring the greenway trail system and other local hiking spots in the Allegany County area. We also hike Hanging Bog, Moss Lake, and Letchworth State Park.

Activities enjoyed include, but are not limited to: hiking, canoeing, kayaking, and birding.

Mission: to join others who have a love of nature and share our favorite outdoor locations. We practice "leave no trace except footprints".

Members who join this yahoogroup will receive posts from other members and may choose to join in or post activities.

Regarding safety: Members are encouraged to use common sense & good judgment during activities. The safety of each member is his/her own responsibility. As a precaution, we encourage members to go in groups of three, or to become acquainted with one another before going on an activity. It is also recommended to have familiarity or knowledge of trail/water conditions.
