Adirondack Fish Tales Etc. a small campground with big dreams is currently only appointment or by membership in one of two Member Run, or Volunteer Participating Clubs:
Southeastern ADK Rustic Camping Club, or Ottenburgh's Ramp Fishing Club.
These clubs allow members to have control over their camping and fishing experiences, while making things better for all to enjoy.
This Southeastern ADK property located between U.S. Route 22, and Southern Lake Champlain. This section of Route 22 is also known as Bike Route 9, and Lakes to Locks Passage a Scenic By-way.
About 6 miles north of South Bay, 8 miles north of Whitehall and 17 miles south of Ticonderoga, NY our location on Southern Lake Champlain is on the quiet side of Lake George, just over the hill from the northern basin of Lake George. [only 1.5 miles south of our location is County Road 6 that brings you to CR-6B and the Huletts Landing Washington County park on Lake George].
From the water we are located between Buoys 18 & 22, west of Maple Bend Island. Lake Champlain, South nautical map shows our private boat launch, "Ottenburgh's Ramp". DeLorme's New York map shows the symbol for trailer accessible launch. Fishing Hot Spots shows docks at our location.
This Group is for members, and prospective members to talk about what they would like to see in either club, or in both. By-laws have not been finalized as of this writing. Your input is encouraged. The by-laws, as well as the operating agreement(s) between Adirondack Fish Tales Etc. and the club(s) will outline what our responsible membership will be able to do at/with the property, and what is expected of each. Particularly with respect to initial improvements, repairs, etc. to ensure that it is truly a win-win for us all.
