For owners of and those interested in Southern Cross sailboats as built by the C.E.Ryder yard in Bristol, RI.

This is a friendly group where those interested in Southern Cross sailboats can share common experiences; make contact with old friends and make new ones. The site has the capability to develop a collection of photos, memorabilia, and a private "members-only" database for finding other owners/interested folk. We do not discuss politics and religion, and generally try to behave the way our mothers taught us!

To gain membership READ and DO the following:

1. Even though you may have to set up a Yahoo e-mail address, please have your mail sent to the "alternate address" that you normally use. PLEASE DO NOT LINK TO A YAHOO E-MAIL ACCOUNT FOR OUR GROUP UNLESS YOU ARE GOING TO CHECK IT REGULARLY!

2. An automated email entitled "Pending Membership - You Must Respond for Admission" is sent to the address you specify for mail!

3. Having mail sent to a Yahoo email address could cause you to not be admitted if you forget to look at it! This has caused problems for several group applicants. To be admitted to the group, and to keep out spammers, you MUST respond to the automated email!

4. To keep out the spammers, we need a BRIEF description of your connection to Southern Cross sailboats.
