How can volunteers best assist the campaigns in California, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico to turn the Southwest Blue on November 2? This list is intended as a starting point--by keeping people keep up to date on the activities of a wide range of individuals and their groups, and also aid communication among CA, NV, AZ and NM.

The goal of this group is to help promote discussion and exchange news for all our volunteer efforts to carry the Southwestern states for John Kerry and other Democratic candidates. It can provide a forum to offer best practices as well as ineffective or counterproductive methods. It can also help avoid duplication of effort or entire communities being overlooked. Whether it's voter registration, tabling, GOTV, or something new--if you're a volunteer, tell us about what you're doing and tell us what you need.

SouthWestBlue is a forum for conversation among Kerry grassroots volunteers from all over California and our counterparts in other states, as well as efforts not specifically affiliated with the Kerry, or any other, campaign.
