The purpose of the Songsparrow Group is to allow any member of Bird Protection Quebec who has e-mail to exchange information about birding of interest to other members - hot sightings, new birding spots, recent trips, etc., i.e. the sort of things that you feel cannot wait for the next issue of the Song Sparrow newsletter, or even for the Webmaster to update Bird Protection Quebec's Web Site. The group should not be used to advertise commercial products.

If you want to share a digital photo you can upload it to the "Photos" area of the Songsparrow Group page and let members of the group know it is there, rather than attaching it to a message, but in any case please try and make it not too "heavy", i.e., reduce the number of pixels so that even people who have slow modems can view it easily.
