The 1986 Libyan bombing was really done by Israel - Mossad linked to the bombing of the disco La Belle
A history of Israeli terrorism
August 25, 1998: On April 5, 1986, a bomb exploded at a favorite nightspot in West Berlin for US soldiers, the disco La Belle. As a result two US servicemen and a Turkish woman were killed in the blast and some 200 people injured.
The US blamed this alleged terrorist attack on Libya and used it as an excuse for President Reagan's air attack on Libya. On April 14, 1986, 160 US aircraft dropped over sixty tons of bombs on Libya, which killed at least 60 people, including many children due to the bombing of Tripoli and Benghazi.
They destroyed the home of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi and Gaddafi himself, the main target of the air strike that allegedly killed Gaddafi's daughter. Targeting the civilian leader of a nation is a war crime.
Sixty US officers at the U.S. Army's School for Advanced Military Studies made a serious charge against the Israelis in their 68-page paper. Intelligence insiders believed that Israel's Mossad had concocted the phony "evidence" to "prove" Libyan responsibility. West Berlin police director Manfred Ganschow, who took charge of the investigation, cleared the Libyans, saying, "This is a highly political case. Some of the evidence cited in Washington may not be evidence at all, merely assumptions supplied for political reasons." US intelligence interests actively built a selective politically-motivated case against suspects without objective material proof; while ignoring and protecting a group of suspects with documented connections to western secret services.

According to former Mossad intelligence officer Victor John Ostrovsky in his two books; By Way of Deception and `The Other Side of Deception, Mossad used of fake radio transmissions/deception, that duped the US into bombing Libya. Ostrovsky was raised in Israel, but was born in Canada. He achieved the rank of lieutenant commander in the Israeli military and he was a Mossad case officer from 1984-1986. He says he participated in the planning of the deception operation describe below as liaison with the Israeli navy.
To summarize, Ostrovsky writes that the Israelis broadcast false radio transmission pointing the finger for the La Belle terrorist bombing at Libya, when in fact the Israeli Mossad officers were the terrorists. This is called a "false flag" operation.
The Israelis had developed a radio re-transmission that relayed a broadcast received via Israel on radio frequency and then re-broadcast this same message on another radio frequency. US military intelligence/NSA and other nations can direction finding from where a radio transmission is broadcast and thereby determine from where it was broadcasts. A disinformation unit in the Mossad, called LAP, than sent a radio signal from Tripoli, Libyan and the US was lead to believe this intercepted coded radio transmissions, really came from Libya.
This special radio re-transmission device was called Trojan and it was secretly put into Tripoli by Israeli naval commandos.
The listeners would have no doubt they had intercepted a genuine communication, hence the name Trojan.
On the night of February 17-18, two Israeli missile boats, the SAAR 4-class Moledet and the Geula, a Hohit-class missle boat, conducted what seemed like a routine patrol of the Mediterranean, heading for the Sicilian channel and passing just outside the territorial waters of Libya. Just north of Tripoli, the warships, which were visible to radar both in Tripoli and on the Italian island of Lampedusa, just long enough to allow a team of twelve naval commandos to disembark on four wet submarines and two low-profiled speedboats.
Two miles off the Libyan coast in sight of Tripoli, eight commandos slipped quietly into the ashore carrying the Trojan cylinder six feet long and seven inches in diameter. It took two men to carry it. A gray van was parked on the side of the road about one hundred feet from the water, on the coastal highway leading from Sabratah to Tripoli and on to Benghazi. There was hardly any traffic at that time of night. The driver of the van seemed to be repairing a flat tire. He stopped working as the team approached and opened the back doors of the van. He was a Mossad Special forces combatant. At the same time, a squadron of Israeli fighters was refueling south of Crete, ready to assist. They were capable of keeping any ground forces away from the commandos, allowing them a not-so clean getaway if the commandos were detected by the Libyans.
The Mossad combatant take the cylinder to the top floor of the five-story building. The cylinder was wrapped in a carpet. In the apartment, the top section of the cylinder was opened and a small dish-like antenna was unfolded and placed in front of the window facing north. The unit was activated, and the Trojan horse was in place. The Mossad combatant had rented the apartment for six months and had paid the rent in advance. The Trojan radio re-transmitter would self-destruct, taking with it most of the upper part of the building.
By the end of March, the Americans were already intercepting messages broadcast by the Trojan, which was only activated during heavy communication traffic hours. Using the Trojan, the Mossad tried to make it appear that a long series of terrorist orders were being transmitted to various Libyan embassies around the world. As the Mossad had hoped, the transmissions were deciphered by the Americans and construed as ample proof that the Libyans were active sponsors of terrorism. What's more, Mossad intelligence reports to the CIA confirmed it.
The French and the Spanish, though, were not buying into the new stream of information. To them, it seemed suspicious that suddenly, out of the blue, the Libyans, who'd been extremely careful in the past, would start advertising their future actions. They argued further that, had there truly been after-the-fact Libyan communications regarding the attack, then the terrorist attack on the La Belle discotheque in West Berlin on April 5 could have been prevented, since surely there would have been communications before, enabling NSA to prevent the La Belle bombing.. Since the attack wasn't prevented, they reasoned that it must not be the Libyans who did it.
As a result of the La Belle bombing, it derailed a deal for the release of the American hostages in Lebanon, thus preserving the Hizballah as the number one enemy in the eyes of the West. Second, it sent a message to the entire Arab world, telling them exactly where the United States stood regarding the Arab-Israeli conflict. The French refused to allow the American bombers to fly over their territory on their way to attack Libya. A bomb hit the French embassy in Tripoli during the raid, and it was reported by the US as being a stray bomb from a US jet.

Other Israeli false flag terrorist attacks
In 1954 that several Israeli-orchestrated acts of terrorism against British targets in Egypt were carried out, aka the Lavon Affair. Blame for the attacks was placed on the Muslim Brotherhood, which opposed the regime of Egyptian President Gamul Abdul-Nasser. However, the truth about the wave of terror is found in a once-secret cable from Col. Benjamin Givli, the head of Israel's military intelligence, who outlined the intended purpose behind the wave of terror:
"[Our goal] is to break the West's confidence in the existing [Egyptian] regime. The actions should cause arrests, demonstrations, and expressions of revenge. The Israeli origin should be totally covered while attention should be shifted to any other possible factor. The purpose is to prevent economic and military aid from the West to Egypt. "
Sheikh Sami el Khoury was/is the President of the World Maronite Union a non-governmental organization of the Maronites (basically Lebanon's Christians). As a result of a Civil War in 1958 Sheikh Pierre Gemayel emerged as a leader of the far right-wing separatist (mainly Christian) movement that opposed a Nasser/Arab-nationalist. Sami el Khoury worked for Germayel.
In 1955, Sami Khoury sold 50,000 submachine guns to Israel. According to US Federal Bureau of Narcotics (FBN) agent Jim Attie, the Israelis spend millions in CIA money bribing officials in Europe and the Middle East for information and protection. The Israelis provided the contacts and money that enabled Khoury to move narcotics across Europe. With protection guaranteed by the Israeli foreign intelligence service, Mossad, Sami Khoury packed his car full of morphine base and drove to France, where he stayed at an Israeli safehouse. Attie also claims that the Israelis prevented the FBN from conducting investigations against drug-dealing Israeli agents in Aleppo, Syria the major transit point in the region. The Israeli Mossad penetrated a U.S. company that provided weapons-grade uranium to the Department of Defense during the 1960s; Israeli agents eventually spirited home an estimated 200 pounds of uranium as the bulwark in Israel's secret nuclear weapons program.
In 1970, King Hussein of Jordan was provided incriminating intelligence that suggested the Palestine Liberation Organization was plotting to murder him and seize power. Infuriated, Hussein mobilized his forces for what has become known as the "Black September" purge of the PLO. Thousands of Palestinians living in Jordan were rounded up, some of the leaders were tortured, and in the end, masses of refugees were driven from Jordan to Lebanon.
New data, coming to light after the murder of two leading Mossad operatives in Larnaka, Cyprus, suggested that the entire operation had been a Mossad covert action, led by one of its key operatives, Sylvia Roxburgh. She contrived an affair with King Hussein and served as the linchpin for a major Mossad coup designed to destabilize the Arabs.
In October 1976 a Mossad unit kidnapped two West German students named Brigette Schulz and Thomas Reuter from their Paris hotel. Planted "clues" and anonymous phone calls made it appear that a Bavarian "neo-nazi" formation had executed the abduction. French intelligence established that the two German youths had been secretly flown to Israel, drugged, tortured, coerced into a false "confession of complicity" in PLO activities, and then anonymously incarcerated in one of the Israeli government's notorious political prisons.
In February 1977 a German-born, naturalized U.S. citizen named William Jahnke arrived in Paris for some secretive business meetings. He soon vanished, leaving no trace. Paris police were anonymously informed that Jahnke had been involved in a high-level South Korean bribery affair and "eliminated" when the deal went sour. A special team of investigators from SDECE, the leading French intelligence agency, eventually determined that Jahnke had been "terminated" by the Mossad, which suspected him of selling secret information to the Libyans. Along with other details of this sordid case, the SDECE learned that Jahnke had been "fingered" to the Mossad by his own former employer, the CIA.
On June 28, 1978, Israeli agents exploded a bomb under a small passenger car in the Rue Saint Anne in Paris, killing Mohammed Boudia, an organizer for the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). Immediately afterward, Paris police received anonymous phone calls accusing Boudia of involvement in narcotics deals and attributing his murder to the Corsican Mafia. A thorough investigation subsequently established that Mossad special-action agents were responsible for the terrorist killing.
After Pieter Willem "PW" Botha was elected the Prime Minister of South African 1978, he began a secret nuclear weapons program in collaboration with Israel, which culminated in the production of six nuclear bombs.
On Oct. 3, 1980, a synagogue on Copernicus Street was bombed in Paris. Four bystanders were killed. Nine were injured. The media frenzy which followed the incident was worldwide. Reports held that "right wing extremists" were responsible. Yet, of all the "right wing extremists" held for questioning, none was arrested. In fact, all were released. In the upper echelons of French intelligence, however, the finger of suspicion was pointed at the Mossad.
According to one report: "On April 6, 1979, the same Mossad terror unit now suspected of the Copernicus carnage blew up the heavily guarded plant of CNIM industries at La Seyne-sur-Mer, near Toulon, in southeast France, where a consortium of French firms was building a nuclear reactor for Iraq.
"The Mossad salted the site of the CNIM bomb blast with 'clues' followed up with anonymous phone calls to police-suggesting that the sabotage was the work of a 'conservative' environmentalist group-'the most pacific and harmless people on earth' as one source put it."

The National Security Agency (NSA), establishment on October 24, 1952, maintained highly classified back doors into the encrypted communications of worldwide. One of the major NSA success stories was the rigging of the encryption machines of the Swiss company Crypto AG, In 1958, Boris Hagelin, who founded Crypto AG, agreed to a secret deal cut between NSA's William Friedman and Hagelin. It was the height of the Cold War.
Neutral nations trusted a Swiss company to sell encryption machines as highly-reliable as Swiss watches and as trusted as Swiss bank accounts. As a result, National Security Agency (NSA) could read encrypted communications of worldwide foreign ministries, military commands, banks, international organizations, and even the Vatican, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and the United Nations. As Crypto AG sold more and more of its units to some 120 countries around the world, the NSA's ability to read encrypted traffic was a virtual gold mine of intelligence.
The United States spent billions of dollars to develop highly secure cryptographic systems to protect our own military, intelligence, and diplomatic communications from our enemies.
Jonathan Pollard a Jewish-American employed as a civilian analyst with the U.S. Navy and his wife Anne, spied for Israel from June 1984 to 1985. Pollard was sentenced to life in prison. Anne was sentenced to five years in prison. Counterintelligence investigators at the FBI suspected he was linked to a mole far higher in the food chain, ensconced somewhere in the DIA.
In 1993, when the Soviets became aware of the Crypto AG secret project courtesy of the classified information passed to Israel by Pollard. The KGB and GRU found out about the "seed key" used by NSA as a master key" to unlock encoded communications transmitted by Crypto AG machines. Pollard's intelligence take off to Israel where some of it was traded to the Soviet Union in return for an increase in the number of Soviet Jews permitted to emigrate to Israel.
Ex-CIA agents report that the Russian intelligence (successors to the former KGB) were actually tipped off about the Crypto AG project CIA spy Aldrich Ames. For a while NSA's trap doors secret was only known to the Soviets and Israelis.
As a result of this, Switzerland-based international billionaire and suspected Mossad asset Marc Rich was able to read encrypted (coded) cables between oil companies and buyers, including spot market dealers, allowing Rich and his friends to underbid lucrative oil contracts. In addition, compromised "secure" bank networks have permitted fake wire transfers to loot numbered bank accounts, including those held by Saudi and Vatican officials. These revelations apparently resulted in the mysterious murder three years ago of the Crypto AG salesman in Saudi Arabia. Moreover, Rich gave the Israelis the ability to monitor diplomatic, intelligence, and financial communications (aka traffic).
According to Paul Volcker's independent investigation of Iraqi Oil-for-Food kickback schemes, Rich was a middleman for several suspect Iraqi oil deals involving over 4 million barrels of oil during the US oil embargo of Iraqi oil. Rich was also convicted by the US with 51 counts of tax fraud and owed $48 million in taxes. His former wife made substantial donations to both the Clinton library and to Mrs. Clinton's senate campaign. The highest Israeli leaders and American Zionist continuously lobbied Pres. Clinton on Rich's behalf.
Rich was pardoned by President Clinton in January 2001. He has never used the pardon to travel to the US -- perhaps because he would first have to pay up $100 millions dollars he owes in back taxes.

A "right wing" group known as "Direct Action" was accused of the attack on Goldenberg's Deli in Paris on Aug. 9, 1982. Six people died and 22 were injured. The leader of "Direct Action" was Jean-Marc Rouillan who had been operating in the Mediterranean under the cover name of "Sebas" and had been repeatedly linked to the Mossad. All references to Rouillan's Mossad links were deleted from the official reports issued at the time. However, the Algerian national news service, which has ties to French intelligence, blamed the Mossad for Rouillan's activities. Angry French intelligence officers were believed to have leaked this information. Several top French security officials quit in protest over the cover-up of Mossad complicity in Rouillan's crimes..
In 1982, just when the PLO had abandoned the use of terrorism, the Mossad spread disinformation about "terror attacks" on Israeli settlements along the northern border in order to justify a full-scale military invasion of Lebanon. Years later, even leading Israeli spokesmen, such as former Foreign Minister Abba Eban, admitted that the reports of "PLO terrorism" had been contrived by the Mossad.
It is also worth noting that the attempted assassination in London of Israeli ambassador Shlomo Argov was initially blamed on the PLO. The attempted assassination was cited by Israel as one excuse for its 1982 incursion into Lebanon. In fact, the diplomat was one of Israel's "doves" and inclined toward a friendly disposition of Israel's conflict with the PLO and an unlikely target of PLO wrath.

During the 1980s, The Mossad's role in drug trafficking in relations to the Contras was serious. David Kimche and Michael "Freddy" Harari (a member of the Jewish community in Panama) was a co-conspirator with Noriega. The US intelligence agencies allowed Harari to escape in an Israeli jet. If Harari had been captured and questioned. Israel`s involvement in the drug trafficking could have come out, as well as that of U.S. intelligence agencies.
In Ben-Menashe's book, Profits of War, " he writes about the drug trafficking into the United States by the CIA and the Israeli intelligence community, and how the profits went into the coffers of these intelligence agencies and into private companies controlled by them.
An investigation into drug trafficking was conducted by a British law commission headed by Lord Louis Blom-Cooper, which then conducted a year of hearings. The London Times referred to the commission's report as "a scorcher," which found: The use of Antigua by the Mossad for drug trafficking and for training and arming the private armies of Colombia's drug barons.
Lying by CIA officials to the White House, claiming that the Israeli operations
in Antigua were to train rebel forces to oust Panama's Manuel Noriega. Mossad`s training of hundreds of Colombians into killers for assassination purposes.
A long-standing practice by CIA to cover for the crimes of the Mossad group, which supported by author Rodney Stich's research and as described by his CIA and DEA sources. The role played by Israeli Major General Pinchas Shachar in the arms and drug operations. Shachar was the official representative for Israel Military Industries in the United States, with special access to the Pentagon and other guarded U.S. military installations.
Former CIA agent Gunther Russbacher, whom Rodney Stich had known for over ten years. Stich ran into many CIA officer in his job as a FAA crash investigor. Russbacher stated that Senator Dan Quayle made frequent visits to Hull's Costa Rica ranch and that Quayle was deeply involved with the Contra operation and drugs, as well as being closely associated with noted drug trafficker anti-Castro Cuban and CIA officer Felix Rodriguez. Russbacher said, "Quayle was one of our bag boys."
Russbacher stated that a major heroin trafficking operation into the US went by the code name for the parent operation was Operation New Wave, coded as NW 688-01-B-NSC. One segment of that operation was named Operation Backlash and coded BL421-D-06.
Russbacher gave Stich the names of the Mossad officer implicated in this drug trafficking operation who handled drug distribution in the San Francisco area:
Robert Silberman, out of Chicago, Marta Bleiblatt, also out of Chicago, Simon Goldblatt, out of Haifa and attached to New York, Ariel Colderman, San Francisco, Kasam Merchant, out of Los Angeles, and David Turner, San Jose.

In April 1993, a police raid of the (ADL) of the B'nai B'rith offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles and seized evidence of a nationwide intelligence network accused of keeping files on more than 950 political groups, newspapers, and labor unions and as many as 12,000 people. Arrested was a 24-year police officer Tom Gerard, who kept computerized files on thousands of Arab-Americans, 36 Arab organizations, 33 anti-apartheid organizations, 412 "pinko" organizations, 349 right-wing organizations, and 35 skinhead groups.
US ambassador Martin Indyk, a naturalized US citizen from Australia. Indyk had two tours of duty as U.S. ambassador to Israel – from 1995 to 1997 and from 2000 to 2001. According to U.S. intelligence sources, Indyk was a valued supplier of classified US intelligence to Israel.
In the early 1990s, two of the KY-78 encryption devices were stolen by Israeli from a Canadan NATO military unit on the Golan Heights in the Separation Zone between Israeli and Syrian forces. As a result during the first US invasion of Iraq, Operation Desert Storm, the Israelis were able to read all of the encrypted traffic in and out of the US Embassy in Tel Aviv. Former NSA Director Michael Hayden's outsourcing NSA contracts to companies with ties to Israeli intelligence, and in so doing, giving the Israelis increased access to NSA's operations and its massive archives of secrets.

15 Feb 2000: Israel is giving PRC/ China U.S. arms technology in direct violation of US arms export laws that forbid the retransfer of that technology to other countries without US permission.
Israel has given China a cruise missile that incorporates sensitive US technology, air-to-air missiles-a re-engineered version of the US made AID-9 "Sidewinder," and anti-tactical ballistic missile technology related to the U.S. Patriot missile and laser weapon technology.

March 10, 2009: In James Bamford`s book , The Shadow Factory (dated October 2008), he states that through joint partnerships with U.S. telecoms, Israel may be a shadow arm of surveillance among the tentacles of the NSA. In other words, when the NSA violates constitutional protections against unlawful search and seizure to vacuum up the contents of your telephone conversations and e-mail traffic, the Israeli intelligence services may be gathering it up too -- a kind of mirror tap that is effectively a two-government-in-one violation.
High-tech Israeli wiretapping firms service U.S. telecommunications companies, primarily AT&T and Verizon, whose networks serve as the chief conduits for NSA surveillance. According to Bamford, who cites knowledgeable sources, Verizon's eavesdropping program is run Verint.
You don't bad-mouth Israel if you want to get ahead," says former CIA counterterrorism officer Philip Giraldi. "Most of the people in the agency were very concerned about Israeli espionage and Israeli actions against U.S. interests. Everybody was aware of it. Everybody hated it. But they wouldn't get promoted if they spoke out. Israel has a privileged position and that's the way things are. It's crazy. And everybody knows it's crazy."
The implications for U.S. national security, writes Bamford, are "unnerving." "Virtually the entire American telecommunications system is bugged by [Israeli-formed] companies with possible ties to Israel's eavesdropping agency." Congress, he says, maintains no oversight of these companies' operations, and even their contracts with U.S. telecoms -- contracts pivotal to NSA surveillance.
