Welcome to the Soling 1 Meter Class message board. Please use this forum to exchange your ideas, tips and tricks for building, sailing and racing the S1M model yacht.

The S1M kit is a radio-controlled version of the famous Soling racing yacht. The American Model Yachting Association has designated the S1M as a "One Design Class" radio controlled racing sailboat. The S1M has the largest number of registered boats within the AMYA racing class system.

Learn more about the Soling 1 Meter Class at the Soling One Meter Class Resource Center. The Class Rules are posted at the AMYA Soling One Meter Class page, and check out the rest of the American Model Yachting Association web site.

The Soling 1 Meter Yacht is manufactured by Victor Model Products.

I added a couple of stripes to the sails with a Sharpie marker. To keep the Sharpie from bleeding, I used a ball point pen with a streight edge (yard stick)
