Description

Thomas Solesbury born @ 1779 Franklin County VA., son of Jeremiah Solesbury and Mary Clay Solesbury. Thomas married Lucy Maxey, born 1782, in Franklin Co. VA, daughter of Josiah and Phoebe Maxey. Jeremiah is buried in the Maxey-Fergeson Cemetary in Spanishburg WV. Thomas Meador Sr came from England between 1622 to 1636. His son, Thomas Meador Jr. was born 1638 in Lancaster County, VA and died 1679, Names of kinfolk buried in Joseph Wellington "Welt" Meador Cemetary on Tank Branch Road in Glen Morgan, WV. Thomas Solesbury II married Mary Polly Meador Nov. 2, 1842 in Fayette Co. VA. Thomas and Polly are buried in the Joseph Welt Meador Cemetary.
