This discussion list is loosely affiliated with Soldier’s Heart, a project of International Humanities Center, and is dedicated to our veterans’ successful return. Dr. Edward Tick, author of the groundbreaking book “War and the Soul: Healing Our Nation's Veterans From Post Traumatic Stress Disorder” and founder of Soldier’s Heart, is a practicing psychotherapist specializing in veterans with PTSD.

Soldier’s Heart is a veterans’ return and healing project addressing the emotional and spiritual needs of veterans, their families and communities. It promotes and guides community-based efforts to heal the effects of war based on strategies presented in “War and the Soul.”
