S.O.L.A.R. (School for Outdoor Leadership, Adventure & Recreation) is a non-profit club with more than 400 members dedicated to the enjoyment of nature and outdoor pursuits. The club provides a medium and a format for the exchange of ideas, information, skills, equipment, etc. related to the planning and conducting of outdoor activities. Members organize interesting classes, trips, and activities for novice and experienced wilderness enthusiasts. Our members love camping, hiking, backpacking, caving, rock climbing, ice climbing, kayaking, white water rafting, canoeing, mountaineering, biking, archaeology digs, primitive skills, search and rescue, wilderness survival, orienteering.... everything outdoors. This family-friendly e-group is designed to allow SOLAR members to share photos, advice, information about events, directions, maps, and the like. Happy Trails!
