Description

This is the public work group of the Solar System Simulator
project. Our mission is to create a model of our Solar System to a scale up to and including the outer oort cloud and the sun's entire magnetic field.

Models will be made of asteroids, comets, planets and man made structures to create a realistic simulation of our universe. We want to simulate the hypothetical, existing, and theoretical aspects of space travel to generate interest for astronomy in the public.

Astrometrics is the planeterium software in focus at present and is not yet open source. It may be downloaded for personal use but for commercial or educational usage permission must first be given by the author by contacting him at darkdave3000@yahoo.com (so that terms may be negotiated).

Astrometrics can be downloaded here (copy paste address into browser):

All are welcomed to join this group and share ideas.
