SoCal Grassroots-HWD originated from
the KerryCA-Hollywood volunteer
effort that was formed during the
2004 Presidential Election.

After Kerry's defeat on election day
we decided not to "roll over & die"
like the Republicans hoped we would.
Instead, we decided to come together
reorganize, and start preparing now
to take back our country and
government in 2006.

SoCal Grassroots-HWD is an information
resource for volunteers of SoCal
Grassroots located in the Hollywood
Region.

Our region covers the communities of
W. Hollywood, Miracle Mile, Hollywood,
Hancock Park, Mid-Town, Hollywood
Hills, Los Feliz, Koreatown, Crenshaw,
West Adams, Silver Lake, & Echo Park.

This group informs our activists about
current events, ongoing activities,
and provides information on upcoming
volunteer opportunities they can
participate in. Please feel free to
post any opportunities, ideas and
events to help us prepare in the next
two years.
