For southern California families drawn to parenting in the instinctive ways known as Attachment Parenting. Many AP families choose breastfeeding (eg extended breastfeeding or natural weaning), babywearing, co-sleeping/family bed, elimination communication (aka natural infant hygiene or infant potty training), positive/gentle discipline, nonviolent communication, and respectful, responsive parenting. We welcome thoughtful discussion of parenting and related topics: natural or unassisted childbirth, homebirth, non/delayed/selective vaccination, non/circumcision, homeschooling, extended or tandem nursing, alternative/complementary healthcare, nutrition, etc. We express ourselves in a manner considerate of others and strive to nurture a safe, respectful forum, as well as each other. This means no flaming, nor *debating* the facets or definitions of AP. We're here to find and lend support, and share resources and information among families.
