This group is dedicated to Snow Bird (Snowbird) Snowblowers. If you have one of these great machines, have an owners manual, looking to buy/sell or are looking for parts, post it all here.

In 1967 Yardman Inc. bought out the George Tools Div. of Community Industries in Sullivan, Il. that made these snowblowers.

Then these snowblowers were then sold as Yardman Snowbird snowblowers.

Then Leisure Group Inc. bought Yardman, then Montgomery Wards bought Yardman.

In 1975 MTD bought out Yardman and closed the plant that was producing these units.

Your only source, if any are still available is MTD. If you have a part number
take it to an MTD Service Center(not Mass Merchant) and ask them to
call their distributor to see if that specific part/cross referenced
by MTD is still available.
