If it is coax braid, toss it. You need some serious strapping--like at least 1" tubular, or even a few of them. 2" solid copper strap is the best but harder

Thanks Rudy, I'll give the ground strap a rework, it's really the only thing left! I'm pretty certain that the strap is copper removed from coax cable. The

Remove the ground braid, clean the area and reattach with star washers and be sure you get a good bite into the metal. Copper strap works much better than
