My plans are for this to be a fun place to explore all aspects of collecting and making small scale doll house miniatures. No limits here to your use of imagination......what ever you dream up! You can be as traditional or as eclectic as you like, and anywhere in between. No limits here on conversations and sharing, as long as it's positive, helpful and friendly. Encouraging each other is always welcome!

The goal for this group is for free, open and friendly sharing of the small scale miniatures we love. There will be challenges with prizes, free patterns and ideas as well as workshops, swaps and lots of encouragement to share.....your thoughts, your pictures, your talents, your tips, your how-tos and so on. This group will be as great as the participation in it. More other ideas for fun will be added as they are thought up and contributed.

I hope that this group will be like a wonderful soup, with a good base stock, to which is added a variety of wonderful different ingredients and spices, all simmering together in a warm environment, with the end result, comfort food to warm us and make us feel good. That's what good friends, good projects and good conversations in miniature are.....comfort food, or as I like to call it, my happy place to go. I hope this will be a happy place for you too.

Shown here is Tammy's tribute to her mother. This project was really a labor of love. It's inspired by a Susan Wheeler greeting card that her mom received many years ago. She held onto the card because she & Tammy really wanted to create a miniature scene based off it. She ended up passing away before that could happen, but I am sure she can still see it and is so proud of her loving daughter. The lovely sentiment on the card says "A good friend overlooks your broken down gate & admires the flowers in your window."
